In the economics program, students will encounter many new learning opportunities and exciting academic experiences. Besides a challenging curriculum and a wide range of economics classes, students are offered the opportunity to work on individual research projects under the supervision of a faculty member. The resulting research papers have won numerous awards, including the Arthur A. Smith Memorial Award given by the Dallas/Fort Worth Association for Business Economics, and have been published in the TCU Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creativity.
Our students go on to successful careers in business, law, government and education, with many pursuing post-graduate degrees. To learn more about the achievements of our current and former students, please visit the recent departmental news and the alumni news.
